With the weather finally warming up, the family and I finally got a chance to get outside. We decided to go up north a bit and check out the historic battlefield area of Antietam in Sharpsburg, Maryland. We also headed to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, which has a lot of places for photography and shopping.
One of the coolest pictures I took was of the St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. Set on top of a hill overlooking Harpers Ferry, the steps leading up to the historic church literally looked like a scene from the video game Bloodborne. You can also get a great view of the Shenandoah River below. The archaic church still holds mass every Sunday at 11am.
