Normally about this time of the year I watch baseball and the hockey playoffs, but in 2022 we have spring football! The brand-new United States Football League’s season started yesterday as the New Jersey Generals played the Birmingham Stallions.
I really hope this league succeeds as it would be really nice to have some spring football compliment the baseball and late hockey matchups. Time will tell, but at least for now, spring football is back!
I’ll be rooting for the Tampa Bay Bandits, so hopefully their first game today is a win against the Pittsburgh Maulers on Fox Sports 1 at 8:00pm EDT.
