The Panthers have been making big moves this year in preparation for the 2022 NFL season. They have added a new quarterback by acquiring Baker Mayfield in a trade with the Cleveland Browns for a 2024 conditional draft.
In addition to getting a new signal caller for the offense, their uniforms will be getting an upgrade during the Thursday Night Football game against their I-85 foes, the Atlanta Falcons. On November 10 the Panthers will be featuring their brand new all black helmets with the Panther head outlined in Carolina Panther blue.
Safety Jeremy Chinn has expressed his approval of the new attire in the press release on the official Carolina Panther website.
“Oh yeah, it matters. It sets the tone. Guys will be fired up, for sure. I know fans have wanted it for a long time. The all-black is one of my favorite uniforms anyway. So, this is like the icing on top,” Jeremy said.
My favorite uniforms have to be the powder blue jerseys with the traditional silver style helmet, but these new black versions of the Panthers’ uniform are definitely turning heads.
