During the Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany, Team Ninja and Platinum Games released their Ninja Gaiden 4 story trailer, which featured plenty of bloody sequences and non-stop action.
Besides the remastered versions, there hasn’t been a new Ninja Gaiden game since the Xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden 3, which was released back in March of 2012.
Earlier in the year, Craig Duncan, head of Xbox Game Studios, said during a podcast that the new game will feature the fan favorite shadow drop and other fast paced animations.
Ninja Gaiden 4 is expected to be released on October 21, 2025 on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC Gamepass, Xbox Cloud, Playstation 5, and Steam.
