David Pastrnak got things rolling last night for the Bruins as he scored a goal early in the first period. Boston kept the Avalanche on their heels the whole game.
In the third period, Pastrnak ended up get to more goals and the hat trick with 21 seconds left in the game.
Jake DeBrusk and Jakub Lauko also scored a goal a piece and Jeremy Swayman helped seal the deal with 30 saves.
Next up for the Bruins will be a Saturday matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Boston is currently ranked No. 1 in the Eastern Atlantic Division.
