On Saturday, two skydivers, displaying American flags, flew into Lane Stadium for pregame festivities of the Virginia Tech Hookies Spring game. The first skydiver made a successful landing. The second one, however, not so much.
In the video below, captured by a fan attending the game, the second skydiver appeared to catch a gust of wind and was redirected into Lane Stadium’s scoreboard and crashed.
Fortunately for the skydiver, he was eventually rescued and treated for their injuries. The incident only lasted for 45 minutes.
After the skydiver was treated, the spring game resumed and the Virginia Tech football team practiced in a scrimmage to prepare for the upcoming college football season.
