The Boston Red Sox are on a six game winning streak after sweeping the Toronto Blue Jays last night at Fenway Park.
I would have to agree with Red Sox Manager Alex Cora, they are playing good baseball. Raphael Devers is definitely starting to heat up as he hit a homerun and had 4 RBIs in the game. Devers leads the Red Sox in homeruns with 11 for the season so far.
Masataka Yoshida also homered in the first to get things started for the Red Sox and had 3 RBIs as well.
With hockey just about over and football three months away, it’s all about baseball!
The Red Sox are playing really well, but it’s a long season. Being above .500 this early in the season is a good sign, though. Currently the Red Sox are ranked third in the American League East Division behind Baltimore and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Next up for Boston is the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park with first pitch expected at 7:05pm EDT.
