It’s Officially Baseball Season

MLB Teams Put Fans on Notice

Now that the Philadelphia Eagles have won Super Bowl 59 and the football season is officially over, MLB teams wasted no time letting fans know that baseball is back on the menu.

Teams started posting spring training hype videos getting fans ready for the impending MLB season.  For example, the Red Sox posted, “Buckle up.  It’s baseball season.”

Texas Rangers posted, “We’re up.”

Spring training games begin on Thursday, February 20 with a Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers matchup, which is literally just a few weeks away.

The Boston Red Sox will play an exhibition game on Friday, February 21 against Northeastern University at Fenway South, JetBlue Park.

Saturday, February 22, will start the full docket of spring training games.

As we bid adieu to the football season and prepare for America’s favorite pastime, just remember, there are only 194 days until week 0 in college football.

Until then and like The Great Hambino once said, “Plaaaaay ball!”
