USA Beats Finland 6-1
Matt and Brady Tkachuk were absolutely dominant for the American’s first game in the 4 Nations Face-Off against Finland.
Finland did get the first goal midway through the first period, but a few minutes later Brady Tkachuk scored for the U.S. tying the match 1-1.
With less than three minutes left in the second period, Matt Boldy scored off of a deflection putting the United States in the lead 2-1 going into the third Period.
That’s when the wheels came off for Finland. Matthew Tkachuk score fifteen seconds into the third period and then Jake Guentzel scored seconds later making it 4-1 with an American lead.
The Tkachuk brothers would then take over with one goal a piece to close out the game and a 6-1 victory for the United States.
It was a really good game and the U.S. looks like a team that’s been playing together for quite some time even though they have had only a few practices.
Looking forward to see how they will play in their next matchup against Canada on Saturday, February 17.
Currently, the United States leads the 4 Nations Face-Off standings with three points.

Gameday: Florida Baseball Gators vs Air Force
Even though is still doesn’t feel like spring, baseball is back and the Florida Gators start off their 111th season against the Air Force Falcons.
No. 10 Florida, according to D1Baseball preseason rankings, will play against the Falcons for the first time in program history.
The three-game series will start tonight at 6:30pm ET and then two afternoon games on Saturday and Sunday.
Liam Peterson will get the nod for starting pitcher duties, as he is currently 3-6 and has a 6.43 ERA.
