Bruins Beat Capitals After Disastrous Loss Against Carolina

The Boston Bruins scored a last-minute goal via Charlie McAvory to beat the Washington Capitals 4-3 on Thursday night.  Boston got destroyed against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 7-1.  It was so bad the Bruins ended up replacing Tukka Rask with Linus Ullmark after Rask allowed 5 goals, so it was good to see Bs end Thursday night with a win.

The victory did cost them, though, as Marchand suffered a right shoulder injury and will be out on Saturday against Winnipeg.  Anton Blidh also suffered an upper body injury and will be out as well for the weekend matchup against the Jets.

The Boston Bruins are currently ranked 4th in the Atlantic division in the Eastern Conference with a 23-12 record for the season thus far.
