The Boston Red Sox can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to their pitching. Case in point, Chris Sale, who has been battling injuries since his Tommy John surgery back in 2019, took a line drive from Yankee center fielder Aaron Hicks to his left hand.
Wincing in obvious pain, Chris Sale rushed towards the dugout as Red Sox Manager Alex Cora and training staff met their pitcher halfway.
His pinky appeared to be either broken or dislocated, but reports are indicating that it is broken.
Whatever the case, it looked like it really hurt, bad!
Hopefully it is not series, but from the video it does not look good.
