The Boston Bruins made a road trip to the Prudential Center to face off against the New Jersey Devils on Friday night. The Bruins started out sluggish in the first period as the Devils drew first blood, but in the second period Boston scored four unanswered goals, Pastrnak scored two himself. Patrice Bergeron and Jake DeBrusk also scored giving Boston all the offense they needed.
In the third period, the New Jersey Devils tried to make a comeback as they scored two goals, but Boston’s goalie Linus Ullmark spoiled the attempt.
This gives the Boston Bruins a four-game winning streak before the Christmas break.
Next up is the Ottawa Senators (14-16-3) on December 27, 2022.
