Boston Bruins road trip around Florida has been causing them problems as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat them on Thursday evening 3-2. Tonight, though, the Bs are looking to turn things around in the Sunshine State as they play the Florida Panthers in a divisional match.
Hoping not to jinx them, but Boston has yet to go back-to-back losses this season, so hopefully this trend continues. The Florida Panthers, however, are on a losing streak. They have lost three in a row, which is to Boston’s advantage.
Boston is playing phenomenal this year and that is bringing out the best in opposing teams, which is creating some good matchups, like the game against the Maple Leafs, for example.
We know every team is gonna give us their best now. They look at us as a statement game. We talk about it a lot. We try to get ready for every game.
Boston forward David Krejci
The Bruins, which has the best record in the NHL, should win this one as the Panthers are scrambling to get something going offensively. They are ranked fifth in the Atlantic division with a 23-22-6 record.
Boston takes the ice at the Florida Live Arena at 6:00pm EST. Check your local listings as the game is scheduled to be on NHL Net and NESN.
