The Boston Bruins are a Hot Mess Right Now

It’s still early in the season, but the Boston Bruin struggles are real.  The game seemed to go in the Bs direction as David Pastrnack scored with a pass from Poitras, which put Boston on top 1-0 early in the first period, but then the wheels came off.

Dallas came right back and scored three more in the second period.  Brazeau scored to cut the lead in half, but it didn’t matter because the Bruins couldn’t get anything done late in the second and into the third period.

The Stars scored one more time late in the third period on an empty netter to seal Boston’s fate and the Bruins’ third loss in a row.

The Boston Bruins do not look focused.  Sloppy puck handling and it seems like the team just has no chemistry. 

Per the Boston Bruins official website:

“If you’re not focused on habits and details, you’re going to get frustrated.  The margins of error aren’t very big in this league. And we’re on the wrong side right now, and I think our attitudes are driving it,” Boston Bruins coach Jim Montgomery said in a statement.

Boston will face the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, October 26, at 7:00pm EDT, so hopefully they can get back on track. 

College Football Week 9 is Here

The Florida Gators have another bye this week so I’ll be watching some other matchups instead.  For example, my daughter’s Virginia Tech will be playing Georgia Tech for a noon kickoff, so I’m anxious to see how that plays out. 

Virginia Tech’s RB Tuten has been a beast for them lately and he ran through Boston College for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns, which is crazy!

My wife’s Tar Heels will play the Virginia Cavaliers as well, so I’ll be switching back-and-forth between those games.  UNC has been struggling with the loss of Drake Maye, who was drafted by the New England Patriots, but hopefully they can get back to .500 with a win against the Cavaliers. 

I’ll close out week 9 with late games featuring Texas vs Vanderbilt and the LSU and Texas A&M game.

It’s Friday and another weekend of college football is upon us!  Let’s get fired up!!
