Little did Al Michaels and Ken Dryden know, but they would end up calling one of the, most legendary hockey games of all time.
Fast forward 45-years ago to today and Al Michaels line “Do you believe in miracles?” still resonates with Americans and is arguably the most iconic saying in sports.
I was 8 years-old at the time living in Winnsboro, South Carolina and that game still feels like it was just yesterday. One of the most rememberable Olympic events of my lifetime and quite possibly one of the greatest comebacks in all of sports.
