The Boston Bruins are coming off of a bye week and the NHL All-Star break refreshed and ready to get back to playing hockey at the Garden. The Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs prior to the All-Star festivities, so Boston is looking to continue that success.
Boston still boasts the best league in the NHL, so they are hoping to improve their record against Washington. With the regular season coming to a close in a few months, the Bruins are eager to position themselves to get ready for the playoffs starting in April.
Looking at what’s ahead, we know it’s going to get harder here in the regular season and then, obviously, in the playoffs it gets even harder and we’re getting ready for that.
Boston Bruins Coach Jim Montgomery
The Carolina Hurricanes, for example, gave Boston some problems before the break and this is definitely a concern heading into the post season.
Puck drop is expected at 3:30pm EST Saturday afternoon on ABC, but check your local listings to be confirm.
Time to get back to business.
