Newly signed Left Winger Tyler Bertuzzi made his debut in a Bruins uniform in Boston’s win against the New York Rangers on Saturday with a score of 4-2. The former Detroit Red Wing now Boston Bruin teed up two goals for Charlie Coyle and Tomas Nosek in Bertuzzi’s inaugural start at the Garden.
Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak, Boston’s Ninety Million Dollar Man, also scored in the Bruins 10th straight victory.
With the season winding down, the Boston Bruins are gearing up for the playoffs and making the final push into the post season with momentum. The Bruins are setting records along the way, but the ultimate prize will be bringing the Stanley Cup back to Boston.
For us, it’s the Stanley Cup. That’s all that matters. Records are meant to be broken, but once you have the hardware it can never be taken away from you.
Boston Bruins Goalie Linus Ullmark
The Boston Bruins will have a few days off as their next game will be on Thursday, March 9th against the Edmonton Oilers at 7:30pm.
The one game I am looking forward to, however, is the Sunday, March 26th matchup against Carolina. The last time these two teams met, the Hurricanes took it to the Bruins in a 4-1 win as Boston looked sloppy and did not perform to expectation. The series is tied 1 a piece between these two foes.
For now, though, Boston needs to concentrate on keeping their win streak alive against Edmonton and the remaining nineteen games of the season.
