Fired Up Fridays:  Florida Faces the UCF Knights, Best Time of the Year, and Spooky Season Has Arrived

Florida Gators vs UCF Knights

Last week the Florida Gators had a much-needed bye as they prepare for their matchup against the University of Central Florida Knights at The Swamp.

The Gators look to get back-to-back wins against UCF as Florida beat Mississippi State a few weeks ago 45-28.  Hopefully, the Gators will keep that momentum going as they go against the Knights.

Central Florida has had their struggles as well.  Colorado took UCF to the woodshed last week with a 48-21 drubbing at the hand of Coach Prime and company.  The Knights will be looking to rebound this week against UF, but hopefully Coach Napier won’t let that happen … hopefully!

Florida leads the series between the Knights 2-1.

I think Florida wins this one with a 24-17 victory.  We’ll see …

Best Time of the Year

As a sports fan, this is the best time of the year! 

October baseball has started, we have continuous football (college and NFL) until Thanksgiving, and hockey’s regular season begins next week.

Hard to believe that a month of college football is already in the books, but we still have plenty of great matchups left as well as the playoffs. 

The Alabama vs Georgia game, however, was a game for the ages!

Spooky Season is Here!

Speaking of October baseball, there are signs of the spooky season everywhere, including your local Home Depot, I’m sure!

The inside and outside of our house is fully decorated and as we get ready for the incoming trick or treaters in the coming weeks.

Friday is finally here!  Time to get fired up!
